Any% Declined | 01:02:00 | No | Any% for this game has gone through some big changes in the previous month. The run is based on IW3 which is derived from Quake, there's lots of Strafe Jumping and optimised combat as well as some weirder tricks like using an enemy to store your position and restoring it in a completely different level to skip to the end. This is essentially just an hour of movement, optimised combat and skipping things. the perfect speedrun. |

Road to Elite Easy Declined | 40:00:00 | No | Road to Elite is a mode where the run is a career mode playing through a year of AEW PPV programming. The run features multiple goofy weapons, wrestling match stipulations, and silly out of match antics like sightseeing to increase your stats. You play through a different story arc for your chosen wrestler for each PPV that contain different scenarios from becoming best friends with another wrestler over missing luggage, to fighting a man in a ring surrounded by exploding barbed wire. The run also requires adapting at times to weird decisions by the AI to end matches as quick as possible. The game is usually a consistent 36ish minute run, with the estimate giving a couple more minutes in case a match goes incredibly poorly. |

All Episodes Accepted | 00:40:00 | No | This category is All Episodes. Episode 1 is Number One Fan, the bright and cheery power fantasy putting The Waitress (Rose Marigold) into the chunky kitten heels of a HERO as she saves her Darling Writer from the Bad Boy and his Evil Haters! Episode 2 is North Star, which is the "scariest" episode of the three. The Sibling (Control's Jesse Faden) arrives at Coffee World (Washington's ONLY family friendly coffee-themed amusement park!) to search for her brother, but instead she encounters scary coffee that wants to take over the world. Join The Percolation... Episode 3 is Time Breaker, which is somehow even more unhinged than the previous two episodes. The final episode of Night Springs puts players into the shoes of... actor Shawn Ashmore, on a mission through the multiverse with a quest to punch Sam Lake in the face. |

Co-op (Full Game) Declined | 00:50:00 | Yes | Co-op is the preferred way to show this game, as it is the only mode to feature the true ending (yes, the Misery Dragon IS actually that petty...) Additionally, the puzzles in the co-op mode are entirely unique to that mode and are focused around challenging two players to work together - sometimes on separate but complementary cycles, and sometimes in the same space while trying not to get either player crushed, squashed, set on fire, lasered, beaten up, or... well, you get the idea. |

Co-op (2p, Old School, Okay) Accepted | 1:00:00 | Yes | This run will show off how much Shredder's Revenge has changed since the initial release - new modes (like "Old School", which lets you use super moves from your HP pool and makes health an even more valuable resource than before!) and four DLC characters (of which we'll be playing two) transform the speedrun like a canister of mutagen applied directly to the forehead. You'll even get to see the bosses this time, as the old glitch that allowed for softlocks has been patched up. As such, strong co-operation between players makes all the difference in keeping the run moving and achieving a fast time. |

Any% Declined | 00:40:00 | No | This run aims to complete the story as quickly as possible. Various bugs are exploited to allow infinite uses of what are normally single-use items and run through the airports quickly while the player translates text and uses time efficiently to arrive at gates at the appropriate times to travel without much waiting. I also try to obtain two key items as quickly as possible to make it easier to route by allowing me to pick up tickets for easier to access gates without worrying about waiting. I'm giving myself some extra time in case first-time nerves take over and to allow for a "pet the dog" incentive. I've included further details about tricks used in the run in the video description. The estimate allows for space with bad RNG/luck. |

Aside from faster combat, the special weapons also allow for additional skips that would not be possible in other categories. The speedruns of this game feature powerful crafted items such as a SUPER BOMB and a time stopping tablet (STOP!); and a staple in JRPGs, the fast menuing and auto-battle mode. |
Normal Ending Declined | 0:15:00 | No | The main aim is to craft a superbomb enough for Marie to pass the exam. The strategy is mainly optimal pathing and movement. You will also be surprised that the run is over in the blink of an eye(more of a commercial break, I guess?). |

Basement% NDA Declined | 1:00:00 | No | Basement% is currently not an official category, but is an abridged category I came up with myself. This category shows off the visuals and technique in the all 10 basement levels and final boss battle without using death abuse. For someone who wanted to get a taste of what this game has to offer, this would be the best category to showcase since all 10 character themes are seen, as well as the special ability in the final boss fight. I think it's important to showcase this game to all Nintendo fans since Peach is finally getting the spotlight after so many years without a game starring herself. An explanation of a cycle skip can be seen at 7:54, a tech and backup route can be seen at 29:16, grappling tech can be seen at 49:58 and 50:42, and an example of utilizing damage boosting can be seen at 51:21. The final boss fight begins at 54:37. |

The US version has two major distinctions that set it apart from the JP warpless run; The Hardshell glitch is frame perfect and I'm fairly unlikely to get it in a run (luckily I'm well-versed in fighting him glitchless), and the lava walk skip to skip most of area 7 does not work in the US version so I do most of the level normally. |

Any% (Thief) Declined | 00:40:00 | No | Take one character through the series. Our "normal" category requires the use of DOSbox set to 10k cycles for the first 4 games, and Thief is the fastest class. Quest for Glory 5 is played in Dxwnd. The one big ? with this category is that we're using floppy version 1.0 of Quest for Glory 4 and that version runs slowly at these DOSbox settings. |
ScummVM any% (Thief) Declined | 00:35:00 | No | Some of the runners wanted to use ScummVM for Quest for Glory 4 because of how much better it handles floppy version 1.0, so we have this category that requires us to do the first 4 games in ScummVM. Quest for Glorys 1 & 2 are quite a bit slower, but the huge gain in QFG4 causes this category to be faster than the "regular" any%. |

EX Character (Gunvolt Any%) Declined | 00:51:00 | No | Featuring the Gunvolt DLC pack, the objective is to use an appropriately recolored Sophia 3rd and the Azure Striker's abilities to go fast. Unlimited Mode (Any%) Declined | 00:16:00 | No | By far the fastest Any% category in any Blaster Master Zero speedrun, Unlimited Mode gives you access to the stronger Sophia Zero, all upgrades, items, and sub-weapons. The run is a straight jaunt from Area 1 to Area 8's Mutant Lord. No need for extra bosses (aside from the Skeleton Boss in Area 7). |
Unlimited Mode (Best Ending) Declined | 01:50:00 | No | This run is Unlimited Mode's equivalent to 100%, where Jason must collect all maps, items, and upgrades specifically from Area 1 to Area 8, despite already having them. Thankfully, each stage in Any% has an absurd out of bounds that skips everything in the stage. [Community Note: A Snopes fact check reveals that there are 7 bosses that cannot be skipped.] Okay but hear me out: Fun bossfight combat. Interesting money routing. One (1) boss fight skip. A cat. A meow button that serves no purpose. This game has everything. i, uh, think it does, anyway? [Community Note: it does in fact have everything] oh thank god |

Any% Declined | 1:10:00 | No | Any% takes us through Pablo and Luna's journey to defeat Vyr, requiring some unique routing on account of collectible requirements to progress. Pablo, the dumb golden retriever with a heart of gold, can punch to space out jumps, speed through flat ground, and defeat enemies. Combining super/hyper grapples with punching and bunny hopping to conserve your momentum. Luna, the tough wolf who has nothing left to lose, combines her ability to dash and a firearm (that allows her to float mid-air) to give her vertical mobility that Pablo only could dream of! Both dogs also go through stages that give them unique power-ups, such as the Earth Blade, which allows Pablo to scale walls nearly 3x faster than Luna can! There's a huge variety of these power-ups - Luna gets new weapons, and Pablo gets new power-stones. These scramble up the formula and keeps Grapples Dogs fresh over the entire run time! Hell, this game even figured out how to make good platformer bosses! |

Glitchless Declined | 01:15:00 | No | Dawn of Sorrow Glitchless turns an otherwise broken Castlevania speedgame into something a bit more vanilla, placing a spotlight on the game's excellent movement and dynamic combat. (But it's a Castlevania speedrun, so plenty of shortcuts and skips remain!) |
Julius Mode Any% Accepted | 00:25:00 | No | What if Soma Cruz failed in his mission and became Dracula? In Julius Mode, you play out the consequences of the game's Bad Ending, as Julius teams up with Yoko and Alucard in a Castlevania 3-inspired duel against the Dark Lord. any% Accepted | 00:35:00 | No | With the re-release of this game in the Castlevania Dominus Collection, this run has received a whole host of new glitches discovered as of late. The world record for any% has been lowered by over 20 minutes already due to glitches that allow you to warp around the game and break the intended progression. This is done by escaping the boss rush mode using a newly discovered glitch while also introducing some memory corruption by manipulating map markers which leads to the end of the run that plays the game in glitched hyper speed physics before defeating the final boss. |

Coda All Zones Bonus | 00:22:00 | No | The classic "impossible" character, Coda is the game's ultimate challenge, combining the big three challenge characters Aria (Dagger only, 0 HP, missed beats kill), Monk (Gold pickups kill), and Bolt (Double tempo) into one package! Estimate accounts for some safety or deaths. |
Story Mode Declined | 00:50:00 | No | Story Mode plays through all four main story characters - Nocturna, Cadence, Melody, and Aria - in a row: - Nocturna is the "Prequel" character, featuring a extra appearances of the zone 5 enemies and rooms, as well as some chaotic and challenging end-game bosses. - Cadence is the "Default" character with no special rules, outside of a couple unique story-based end bosses, the last of which introduces the Golden lute. - Melody is locked to the Golden Lute, a powerful move-attack weapon, but with the downside of being unable to attack without moving and being attached to a character with a reduced health pool. - Aria is the final challenge of the game's story, featuring reversed zone order, no HP, and limitations to the weakest weapon in the game, the basic dagger. Lots of tight optimized on-the-fly decision making needed here! Estimate allows for a death or two. |
Story Mode - Double Time Declined | 00:50:00 | No | Same as above, but with the double-time option enabled, making everything in the game twice as fast! This run is CHALLENGING, and as such some of the tightly optimized movement gets traded in for safety, leaving the estimate at the same to account for the huge amount of extra safety required. Ending A, No Major Glitches Declined | 1:40:00 | No | I am submitting two categories for Death's Gambit Afterlife: Ending A, and Ending C with a donation incentive for Ending A. Ending A adds a significant amount of time to the run (30-35 minutes), so for scheduling reasons, the Games Committee may choose not to leave such variability in the game's length based on an uncertain donation incentive. Ending A introduces the true antagonist of the game, who is otherwise mostly-absent in Ending C. The end sequence adds very interesting content for viewers including "trippy" visual effects (no flashing lights), and a 4th-wall-breaking threat against the player; I intend to run the game on an "AGDQ 2025" profile so that the name of the event appears in-game. |
Ending C, No Major Glitches Declined | 1:05:00 | No | I am submitting two categories: One is Ending C (the "bad" ending) with a donation incentive to upgrade the run to Ending A (the "true" ending), and the other is running Ending A from the start. A clean run for Ending C is approximately 55-60 minutes to run on the Switch, and Ending A adds about 30-35 minutes of content including several entertaining boss battles and a visually-engaging end sequence. |

In the backstage, you gather minions to your party before taking on Lady Luck for a chance at finally escaping the dungeon and her game show. This run requires significant game knowledge to remember the abilities of every minion in the party as well as careful management of party health. In All Fights, every fight in the dungeon must be completed before reaching Lady Luck. There is one possible character for this category of the speedrun: Jester. |
Backstage Any% Declined | 00:25:00 | No | Backstage is a special area in the main game that is unlocked after completing the 6th episode with all 6 characters. In the backstage, you gather minions to your party before taking on Lady Luck for a chance at finally escaping the dungeon and her game show. This run requires significant game knowledge to remember the abilities of every minion in the party as well as careful management of party health. Full Game Any% (Glitches) Declined | 1:25:00 | No | HowLongToBeat says it takes 27 hours on average to beat Dicey Dungeons, Full Game Any% casually. So how can I do it in a little over an hour? GLITCHES. LOTS OF GLITCHES! This run has duplication glitches, double input glitches, and early character unlock glitches. The only glitchless parts are the tutorial and final boss episode. An absolutely mind-bending category that eliminates most (but not all) of the RNG of this beloved indie roguelike, making it more marathon safe than most other categories without removing the thrill of the RNG. |

Warrior Ep 1 is the first playable level in the game, but is still shockingly hard for being the first level. Any% Accepted | 00:50:00 | No | Any% is all about wrong warps and how it can greatly help to lower the requirements to beat the game. It does skip playing most of the levels and has some RNG involved into getting the faster route, but there is a sligtly slower route which is marathon safe if we do not get the luck that we want. We also get to showcase the raw speed and cool glitches the games has to offer. |
T.T Amulet Declined | 00:30:00 | No | This category is about getting the completed T.T Amulet as fast as possible. 100% (Classic) Declined | 02:45:00 | No | Fans of the 100% (Ultra-Nightmare) category can scarcely recognize this one. It features a ton more skips and sequence breaks than its counterpart. 100% Declined | 01:35:00 | No | 100% requires that we kill all enemies, obtain all secrets, and collect all swag in all levels, as well as completing the 3 optional side missions. There's still a couple of skips that we can implement (including skipping both 3-minute autoscrollers), but what we trade in out-of-bounds we make-up for in a ton of intense combat. |
Any% Declined | 00:40:00 | No | Between general optimization and the implementation of a few new strats and out-of-bounds sequences, this category has been chopped down by a not-insignificant amount of time since its original showing at AGDQ 2023. The rules of a standard any% still apply: beat the game as fast as possible. There's, luckily, a healthy mix of skips, out-of-bounds, and combat to keep it interesting. |
NG+ Backup | 00:32:00 | No | New Game+ is a much glitchier run since we have access to the Trendsetter, an outfit unlocked after beating the game that gives us faster speed, higher jump height, and infinite rockets for the rocket launcher, which auto-kills all normal enemies (and makes short work of the final boss). We also have access to the Drip Cannon 5 levels early so we can skip a lot more stuff early on. |

I will be explaining multiple different glitches we use to get through the game fast, including Railboosts that launch you into the sky, glory kill clips which can push us through doors, and paperclips which allow us to wiggle our shiny metal butts through almost any corner in the game. Oh, did I mention we skip 2/3 of the boss fights in the game with death-defying skips? This run is an absolute ride, and I hope to be able to show it to everyone. |

"Where is the Evil Eye" (Sigil I + Sigil II Any5) Declined | 00:50:00 | No | "Where is the Evil Eye" is my doom 1993 run. It consists of Doom 1993. Sigil I and Sigil II are considered Episode 5 and 6 for the original Doom. I call the run where is the evil eye cause you spend the episodes shooting evil eyes to progress. |

100% Declined | 00:10:00 | No | 100% requires completing a number of extra achievements, including an extra hidden picture and making friends with a variety of stuffed animals. The category also features careful routing to hit triggers to reach certain achievements with minimal backtracking |
All Gifts Declined | 00:07:00 | No | All Gifts requires $20 million in damage while also uncovering the 12 hidden pictures to unlock the secret room. The category makes use of the Golden Pomeranian statue to reach that damage total quickly. |
Any% Declined | 00:05:00 | No | Any% skips the train in the nursery and uses invisible collision to get the wine cellar completed early. Get 12 hidden paintings and eat cake as quickly as possible! |

All Queen's Requests Declined | 6:15:00 | No | In addition to completing the game, this run collects 16 specific monsters that the Queen of GreatTree asks you to show her. It's a cool showcase involving several powerful monsters not otherwise seen in DWM speedruns, many of which appeared as boss fights in the main series. I spent most of the summer routing this category, so it's never been seen outside of my stream (it's currently on the backup list for Questing for Glory but unlikely to get subbed in). The attached run is very clean - decent RNG and no major mistakes - so if I ran it next weekend I'd expect to finish in the 6:00-6:15 range. |
Any% Declined | 3:20:00 | No | This run will simply beat the game as quickly as possible. I've made adjustments to the route to make the run a lot more "marathon-safe" than the routes most runners use. The attached run has pretty average RNG and execution, so I would expect to finish in the 3:00-3:20 range if I spend the week continuing to derust. |

Any% 1CC Accepted | 00:22:00 | No | The 1CC category originally started separate from the Any% category due to excessive grenade use. Grenades refill on a death, so death/credit abuse was the name of the game. The 1CC run's goal is to abide by a slightly safer set of rules. |

5 Completed Puzzles Declined | 00:12:00 | No | This category requires me to successfully complete five Duotrigordle puzzles. While my success consistency is quite high, my estimate does account for unlucky word pools I may get, as well as potentially failing a puzzle. |

Alternate End Declined | 00:20:00 | No | Alternate End (the game’s “true ending”) involves precise platforming, plus several puzzle skips and checkpoint abuses as you grab the 20 computer chips scattered around the world. With how quickly some rooms are solved, this run makes even the most complicated puzzles look like mere child's play. |

Pokey% Declined | 01:35:00 | No | Pokey% has been freshly re-routed to provide even more BOING! ZOOM! during the run and endless drama in the finale! Because after all, why fight Giygas with three party members when you can leave Paula at level one instead? Leveling up requires text, and text costs time, and we have no time! There's a universe to save! We're still following the prophecy of the Apple of Enlightenment -- three boys and a girl will venture forth to defeat the Embodiment of Evil, Giygas. But what if Ness -wasn't- the foretold hero? Who, then, would step up to take his place? Enter Pokey Prime, Ness' neighbor, recruited to the party before turning to the dark side. Can he lead our party to victory against Evil Pokey and Giygas? Only time (and fireworks and RNG) will tell! While most of the incentives require a modded game for Debug Menu access, the run itself and some incentives can be played on a vanilla cart. |

100% Reverse Boss Order Declined | 01:00:00 | No | We'll collect 100% of the game's items while clearing the bosses in reverse order. That means 20/26 seashells, 4/14 trade items, and hopefully none of the eight nightmare keys. Don't worry, it'll all make sense in the end. Reverse Boss Order might seem to lock you into a particular route through the game, but the fun and challenge is in getting from point A to B to C quickly and efficiently while also taking a few pit stops as possible to grab the Totally For Sure 100% of items you need to get. You've got literally every trick in the book at your disposal, from Super Jumps to Bomb Skips to Wrong Warpin' and you'll spend almost as much time out of bounds as you do in. |
100% Reverse Boss Order - Three Heart Challenge Backup | 01:00:00 | No | Same thing as 100% RBO, but is played on a patch that keeps Link at a maximum of three hearts. All heart upgrades will still be collected; they just have no effect. Sloppy gameplay will be quickly and severely punished, especially as your first two boss fights as well as some minor enemies will one-shot you at that health cap. |

Any% Declined | 00:20:00 | No | WIth such a boundless open world, this category takes full advantage of that freedom. Using the extensive movement tools in the game, this run rushes to defeat a late game boss and obtain a super strong ability. We'll take that ability and use it to trivialize the rest of the platforming challenges in the game, while super-charging our movement as well. We'll use this freedom to beat the game as quickly as possible. |

Any% - Balladin Declined | 00:30:00 | No | This run is done with the Balladin Character without the Cruciball challenge modifiers. The Balladin character has a bigger focus on the "Ballwark" mechanic, providing him a lot of extra health compared to the other characters. This provides a lot more flexible room to pursue high self damage builds, as well as taking chances on more dangerous effects and fights. |
Any% - Peglin Declined | 00:30:00 | No | This run is done with the Peglin character without the Cruciball challenge modifiers. The Peglin character is sort of the jack of all trades, master of none. His main relic focuses on providing more variety, so we're set on finding the strongest build offered to us to tackle the three main acts of the game and defeat the final boss. |
Any% - Roundrel Declined | 00:30:00 | No | This run is done with the Roundrel Character without the Cruciball Challenge modifiers. The Roundrel has the ability to debuff enemies better than the other three characters, as well as taking advantage of the "Ballusion" mechanics in order to dodge attacks. With this character, a lot of runs showcase more of the debuff orbs, creating a delicate dance between fighting to stay alive, as the enemy is weakened and defeated. |
Any% - Spinventor Declined | 00:30:00 | No | This run is done with the Spinventor Character without the Cruciball Challenge modifiers. The Spinventor's main relic provides a boost to individual orbs, showcasing the most variety in potential builds. It's also the preferred character for the fastest runs, as the benefit provides a significant damage buff out the gate over other characters. There's also a special Voltron style orb that might show up! |

Any% + DLC Glitchless Declined | 2:05:00 | No | Alternatively and affectionately titled "Two Gods", the goal of this speedrun is to complete the two final "god" bosses of the game, the base game's Elden Beast, and the DLC's Consort. This speedrun does start with the same setup that most speedruns have to do, gathering our weapon and upgrades, but then gets double the payoff for our efforts, getting to show off the base game's bosses as well as the DLC. This category is also unique in that it bounces around between base game and DLC, swapping back and forth in order to optimize the levels and upgrades gained, and making the bosses faster and safer as a result. While it is not an official leaderboard category yet, it is one of the most exciting showcases of what Elden Ring has to offer. |
Defeat Consort Glitchless Accepted | 1:25:00 | No | Alternatively titled "DLC Any%" or "DLC%", the goal of this category is to start a brand new character, unlock the DLC, and then defeat the final boss which will just be known as "Consort" to avoid potential spoilers on their identity. This involves a quick setup phase to get our weapon and upgrades, and then rushing through and defeating the DLC bosses at a very low level. Even the new DLC scaling mechanic, the "scadutree" fragments, must be kept to a minimum to save time. Despite this, the run can be quite fast, defeating the final boss in just over an hour after starting the game. |
DLC Randomizer Declined | 2:00:00 | No | With the release of the DLC, our amazing modder thefifthmatt has knocked it out of the park with a marathon-viable randomizer mode. The DLC introduced 11 new Remembrance bosses, with a few other main bosses and key item locations sprinkled in, that allows for runners to have a limited number of locations to check in order to obtain the required number of "Messmer's Kindling Shards" required to complete the DLC. These are spread throughout the entire map of the Land of Shadow, and will take viewers on a whirlwind tour, complete with skips to get to the most remote areas in no time. Each run will be unique down to the starting items and equipment, because even the base classes are randomized, so you can ensure no two runs are ever the same. No on-screen tracker is needed, only a count of the number of Messmer shards, which can easily be added to the runner's name text. |

All Targets Declined | 00:12:00 | No | All Targets is the main category for Kannagi Usagi, and it involves defeating all 8 of the bosses in any order. Most runners will choose the most random bosses first, and end with the reliable or easy bosses, but for this showcase I will go from easiest to hardest, saving the best for last. There is also a ranking system for each fight, and I should be able to achieve an "S" rank for each one. Each fight is unique, and has its own individual level leaderboard, and the All Targets run showcases everything the game has to offer. |

Shura No Airswim Declined | 0:30:00 | No | This version of Any% with a twist produces a surprisingly unique route, while being only a few minutes slower than the route with airswimming. Instead of simply flying past all obstacles, they must be routed to be skipped, bypassed, or taken head-on. This leads to several skips unique to this category, including my personal favorite that involves dying while grappling through the air to fly through and bypass death planes. It is a great middle ground between the unrestricted and glitchless routes, where this category will follow along the generally required progression path, but then use skips and glitches to achieve victory in a very short time. |
Shura Restricted Declined | 0:25:00 | No | This is the classic version of the Any% run for Sekiro, the faster "Shura" ending, with only one restriction that you can't use Force Quit Wrong Warps. This category is incredibly quick, literally flying through the game with "airswimming" to reach the credits with only a few bosses defeated. But don't let that fool you, this is a very challenging category with two of the most difficult skips in the game, requiring frame perfect jumps and precise angles while moving to execute them correctly. This category also recently got a newly discovered skip, the "Lone Shadow skip", which has not been shown off at a GDQ event before. |

The Rising Tide DLC - Action NG+ Accepted | 1:05:00 | No | The Rising Tide is the 2nd DLC released for Final Fantasy XVI, and provides an excellent slice of what the full game has to offer. I run the game on a NG+ file for some additional abilities and a change to one specific fight in the run. Either option is allowed for the leaderboard as the differences are miniscule. The run begins with a movement-heavy section, then moves onto a combat sequence full of challenging boss fights. The finale is a cinematic showdown with the lost Eikon, Leviathan. Each segment tests a different skillset and makes for a compelling showcase of the game as a whole. |

All Gems Declined | 00:28:00 | No | Unlike any%, All Gems is a considerably more dynamic category, with emphasis on glitchless-savvy movement that showcases mix of good memory, backup routes, and experiencing most of the course map to make it through each level with all the Gems. This category is also more prone to unusual RNG in the mid-game, so it makes for a more unpredictable journey. |
any% Declined | 00:21:00 | No | The any% category of Frogger 2 (GBC) has gone on to evolve into something very fast-paced with little to no breaks for many levels at a time. While there is nothing extra required to collect on most levels, a marathon run allows for split-second decisions to include a few select checkpoints and 1ups in case you run into trouble along the way. This category most greatly explores the game in terms of its oversights. |

Easy Mode Declined | 01:09:00 | No | Easy mode is a very breezy category while still having some level of challenge, which allows for some serious risk taking. Most enemies spawn into battle slowly but can be KO'ed very quickly as a tradeoff. Almost every intended battle strategy works out modestly well in easy mode. |
Hard Mode Declined | 01:15:00 | No | Out of all the difficulties, Hard mode hits the utmost aggression and severity, living up to its name. Being lifebars being erased in a matter of seconds in bad positionings and unusual enemy spawns, this category is hands down the most grueling out of the trio. Many safety strats and backups will be required to properly run this one. |

The game has highly competitive computer players that can very quickly get you into trouble in unusual ways, items that range from not useful to way too useful, optimal race routes that have a 50|50 chance of working well, and a whole lot of other zany racing quirks to work through. All of this makes Wild Animal Racing a game you get to embrace improvisation throughout the speedrun! |

Blade of Galadriel Any% Declined | 00:40:00 | No | Blade of Galadriel is a DLC story that features the Elven Assassin: Eltariel, directly after the main story, and her efforts to defeat the remaining Nazgul. She is now in possession of similar powers to the main game, along with some new ones that will be used throughout the run. Along the way we will meet new unique Orc allies and complete missions in our effort to defeat the armies of two unique Nazgul, and then finally defeat Talion to claim the title of Main Character. |
Demo% Declined | 00:15:00 | No | Demo% uses a different build of the Shadow of War game, featuring the same skills, mechanics and more importantly, glitches! We are plopped directly in the middle of Talion's story, with a slightly altered introduction. We are tasked with creating an army to lay siege to the fort, and promptly display the major glitch of the run, "Hired By Email", allowing us to skip individual recruitment missions and go into the siege as fast as possible. Completing the siege ends the demo and gives a small taste of the fun that can be had by playing the main game. |
Desolation of Mordor Any% Declined | 00:48:00 | No | Desolation of Mordor is a DLC story featuring Baranor after he has split off from the other Gondorians, leading an effort into the desert to take control of an Orc Fortress there. This particular DLC features new orc slaying tools, along with Roguelike mechanics, allowing us to find upgrades to apply to our gear, and a currency system to spend on hiring different mercenaries. These mercenaries and new tools will allow us to speed through the story missions as fast as possible and capture the desert fortress. Baranor is a mortal man, and thus if he takes too much damage and fails a QTE, the run will end, adding to the stakes. |

NG+ Story Difficulty Accepted | 1:45:00 | No | This is the category I've grinded the most. This run includes a pre-prepared NG+ loadout that utilizes all the best weapons, coils, weaves, effects, etc. with the combination of story difficulty to show off the fastest possible way to beat this game and all its combat. period. In addition to other categories, this run will maximize combat to its fullest, pull off the tightest possible movement necessary to cross the West and utilize new mounts to get us there. This runs also includes a good dozen or so ways to shorten parts inside major story paths and maximizes the potential of the best route possible between all 3 subordinate functions in Act 2. |

NG+ w/ Gadget Storage Declined | 1:25:00 | No | This is the most popular run in the game that was updated last year to include "Gadget Storage". This storage allows us to carry over the hoverboots immediately into a NG+ playthrough, and since hoverboots include such insane high-speed tech, it allows the first 20 minutes to go exceedingly faster with new strats. The entire category relies of precise satisfying movement from checkpoint to checkpoint and utilizing enemy and trigger knowledge of the game to maximize every section to its fastest potential time. |

The goal is to not only beat the main story but collect every collectable this part of the DLC has to offer as well as every challenge, add some crime fighting and you have an action packed short Spidey Adventure |
The Heist Any% Accepted | 00:40:00 | No | The Any% category for the Heist DLC. Rather than collecting everything we go fast and try to beat the main story of the DLC as fast as possible, featuring cool movement as Spider-Man himself and exciting fighting! |

100% Declined | 5:35:00 | No | 100% is as the name implies. All Collectibles with extra steps, requiring us to beat the game twice, once from a fresh file and once from an NG+ file to get our weapons fully kitted to level 10 in a thrilling arena grind at the very end of the category, we collect all collectibles, buy every weapon, finish every side mission, and beat the game. |
All Collectibles Declined | 2:35:00 | No | All Collectibles as the name implies requires us to collect everything that the game deems a collectible. All Gold Bolts, All Armour Pods, All Spybots. Utilizing the games incredible movement system, we collect as many things as possible with carefully planned out routes, starting from a Fresh file, we must also plan weapon level ups and upgrades. This fast paced, fun collectathon has everything Rift Apart has to offer! Also including a skip unique to this category, Arena Stacking! |
Any% Declined | 1:45:00 | No | Rift Apart's Any% category, much like most Ratchet and Clank Any% is the signature category. Starting from a fresh file we beat the game as fast as possible, buying weapons along the way, making sure we are well equipped for the final fight. Utilizing movement tech to get us there faster! |
NG+ Declined | 1:30:00 | No | This category is very different on PC and PS5. PS5 has the option to to run Gadget Storage, which allows the use of Gadgets on the VERY FIRST planet in the run, which is usually not possible. PC doesn't have access to this glitch and therefore must run No Gadget Storage, which is the original version of NG+. Gadget Storage hasn't been shown off before on the big stages like GDQ. NOTE: Both categories become the exact same after the 4th planet, No GS on PC is easier to run with my current setup but GS can be setup on PS5 |

Special Agent Declined | 00:40:00 | No | In Special Agent, the runner performs several ridiculous tasks to unlock all achievements, like robbing a bank, the iconic wedding quake, and consuming vast quantities of jelly to fulfill ethical responsibilities, and that's just 3 out of nearly 30 achievements this run gets. |

Any% NMG Accepted | 00:50:00 | No | Any% NMG (No Major Glitches) allows us to focus much more on movement optimization than relying on large skips. Satisfying movement combined with some clever skips and abusing game mechanic makes for a wonderful category to run. |

At the start of the seed, players are given a list of 10 Super Bosses and other challenging goals to accomplish. Players then embark on a journey to obtain as many tools as they can in the most efficient way while also unlocking the paths to any 7 of those Goals. Time ends on the 7th goal being achieved. |

All PRO Codes Any% (NG+ Beginner) Declined | 3:48:00 | No | Beat KH3's base game as quickly as possible with all of the PRO Codes enabled for the entire run. PRO Codes are a set of battle restrictions that are included with the Re:Mind DLC (see the full list at https://www.khwiki.com/Premium_Menu#PRO_Codes). They cut off access to almost all forms of healing, Formchanges, Links, etc. and therefore necessitate wildly different strategies and routing from a regular Any% run! |

Cities (Full Album, 100%) Declined | 0:15:00 | No | Cities is easily my favorite album of the Sound Shapes albums, and features music by Beck that was never released anywhere outside of this game. I'll have to collect all notes within each of the levels (aka the song tracks) to progress. 50:58 is the timestamp if the link doesn't immediately bring you there. |
D-Cade (Full Album, 100%) Declined | 0:17:00 | No | D-Cade is the hardest of the Sound Shapes albums, and features retro gaming visuals and a banger soundtrack by deadmau5. I'll have to collect all notes within each of the levels (aka the song tracks) to progress. 37:34 is the timestamp if the link doesn't immediately bring you there. |

All Kerotans - European Extreme Declined | 01:40:00 | Yes | WAKA WAKA! That's the sound of a cute, battery operated toy frog being shot by the man who would become Big Boss. Whilst saving the world from a nuclear threat is important work, that won't distract Snake from his true mission, shooting all 64 Kerotan Frogs hidden throughout Metal Gear Solid 3. Some Frogs are hidden in rooms you wouldn't normally visit in a speedrun, so adds some extra exploration to the game. But with Game Over If Discovered being active, routing does take a big swing from a normal run to make sure each Frog can be shot without being spotted, or shot whilst trying to defeat a boss. And for the times we don't have a gun? A very well placed Grenade will have to do instead! All Kerotans is a great way to see just a little bit more of MGS3. |
Any% - European Extreme Accepted | 01:25:00 | No | Complete the game as fast as possible on the hardest difficulty. Instant game over if spotted adds a huge extra level of challenge, making stealth an absolute must. Boss battles vary wildly, with some requiring fantastic aim and timing, some with very weird or convoluted methods for looping them and beating them without fear of retaliation, or some we can just cheese with very gimicky strategies! |

All Phases Declined | 01:25:00 | No | This is the *entire* game, all three phases/playthroughs. Can be done in any order, but it's generally Yin/Yang/Kuon. Wild fun to see the whole thing, imo |
Kuon Phase Declined | 00:08:00 | No | The "final" playthrough of the game, only unlocked after completing the other two. It's so short it could be an incentive for after a main run of Yang or Yin. It's just a straight shot to the end boss. |
Yang Phase Accepted | 00:45:00 | No | Yang Phase, where you play as Sakuya. Slightly longer than Yin, and the harder/more dangerous of the runs. |
Yin Phase Accepted | 00:35:00 | No | The most common first playthrough, playing as Utsuki. A bit shorter than Yang, and a bit easier/less combat focused. |

Jumi% Declined | 02:15:00 | No | The category that brought me to the game, Jumi% is the longest of the 3 main quest categories, but focuses on the need for radical love instead of narrow self-protectionism as its main theme. It is a little less popular as a category because it has RNG at the end regarding a puzzle that has random solutions, but that's just grist for drama when it comes to a speedrun marathon! |
Category | Estimate | Co-op/Race | Description |
---|---|---|---|
Any% Easy Random Declined | 01:10:00 | No | This is what the 'random name' incentive would look like if you took the base game w/incentives, or maybe you want this out of the gate. Random seed means I have to spend more time working out what's going on in the game, and there's extra buys and possibly extra deaths for speed. A little more time, a little more pain for the runner! |
Any% Easy Seeded Declined | 0:40:00 | No | We've seen this before! This is the Any% Easy Seeded category, which I am actually working on improving right now and will hopefully have a new seed by the time of marathon in a week. The fastest category, if you don't want TOO MUCH virtual hydlide, this is a known quantity. |
Any% Pro Random Declined | 02:15:00 | No | This is the maximum pain category: highest difficulty, highest randomization. The game's helpful automap is absolutely gone. The enemies can't generally be stunned, so everything is more dangerous and dynamic. You don't have a shop so finding the necessary last weapon is a real dungeon crawl, in fact, all the dungeons are a real dungeon crawl! Good for an incentive if you can manage the massive time difference! This estimate is the most dangerous because of so much searching, in theory it could go VERY badly. But isn't that what virtual hydlide is all about ha ha ha? |
Any% Pro Seeded Declined | 01:30:00 | No | If you _seed_ PRO, a lot of the pain gets cut out because you're not flailing wildly to navigate. It's still the hardest enemies in the game and you have no ingame map if you get lost, but a much more reasonable and easily estimateable situation. |

Incomplete Chambers (Masta Killa) Declined | 00:18:00 | No | The Any% category of Wu-Tang, Incomplete Chambers fights all the stages except the final final boss (which requires getting all 36 chambers). Masta Killa's advantage is that instead of Method Man's infinite and initiate, he has an absolute truckload of damage in his 3-button command flip attacks, speeding things up at a certain safety cost against the final bosses. He still has the tools to get the job done, though, making him the 1 of 2 characters I have WRs with. |
Incomplete Chambers (Method Man) Declined | 00:18:00 | No | The Any% category of Wu-Tang, Incomplete Chambers fights all the stages except the final final boss (which requires getting all 36 chambers.) Method Man's advantage is an incredible range on his initiate along with a simple high damage combo, and a terminal infinite that can guarantee kills against the later-game AIs. |

All Death Star Plans Declined | 01:08:00 | No | If you're familiar with the LEGO series as a whole, Death Star Plans are comparable to minikits. Every level in this game has 5 of them, and they're usually in spots that shouldn't be possible to reach in story. Because this game is so broken, we can get every single Plan in just one run through each level. Adding a little extra to each level also means it's incredibly hard to stay alive at times - simply put, it's a thrill. |
All Episodes Declined | 00:48:00 | No | After a showstopper at PAX East 2024, I have since gone on to take the All Episodes WR in one of the most exhilarating speedruns of my life. 100% [PAL] Declined | 01:35:00 | No | Despite the name, LM 100% is one of the best examples of only needing "most of the stuff" in order to achieve the highest rank in the game (only 70% of the total is needed for NTSC versions). If you're expecting PAL to make that requirement more difficult somehow, you'd be absolutely correct, but it's interesting to note how significantly that affects the speedrun. In PAL, it's actually impossible to achieve an A rank WITHOUT the hidden mansion, because you need more than what's available normally. All that extra money is hidden in the bonus ghosts, which now drop diamonds instead of their usual payload. These 25 new gems combined with an increased threshold of 80% means that this run involves A LOT of cash. From force-spawning RNG mice to doing sidequests in the blackout, you won't find many LM speedruns that boast as much content as this one! |
Any% (No OoB) [PAL] Accepted | 01:15:00 | No | Despite being primarily known for its difficulty, there's more to the PAL hidden mansion than challenge alone. An increased boo requirement of 45 makes it necessary for players to clear rooms that are otherwise considered optional, which leads to the PAL variant of Any% (No OoB) taking an entirely unique route through the game. A director's cut of what PAL has to offer, this category showcases the game's toughest sections across every floor of the mansion to provide the quintessential PAL experience without wading all the way into the deep end. |

Any% (Rockman) Declined | 0:45:00 | Yes | The "Counter Attacker" Item lets Mega Man deal 2 extra damage IF he has less than 8 health remaining. This requires careful damage routing and backup plans. There are also zips that require precise timing to execute - there are no known "easy setups". This leads to the high estimate compared to PB times. Randomizer (Blitz) Declined | 1:50:00 | No | Blitz settings for the Randomizer shorten the time it takes to complete a seed by lowering the number of Star Spirits from 7 to 4, and restricting where required items can be placed to only those parts of the game. This makes a more focused experience while encouraging strategic use of items. |
Randomizer (Glitch Logic) Declined | 3:45:00 | No | Glitch Logic incorporates dozens of glitches into the item placement logic of the randomizer. These settings also require beating all 7 chapters, and with how broken the game is, this can lead to some very interesting routing. |

Any% Declined | 00:11:00 | Yes | Submitted as a race with lefty_dwinkleton. Escape the island by any means necessary, including the use of glitches. This run has a lot of technical strategies, and highlights the use of many of the entertaining glitches that the game has to offer. |
Glitchless Declined | 00:40:00 | Yes | Submitted as a race with lefty_dwinkleton. Gather all of the parts of the cure, without the use of any glitches, and then escape the island. This run effectively highlights a good number of the game's advanced techniques, shows of a large amount of the game's landscapes, and offers good commentary opportunities as well. |

Any% Declined | 0:11:00 | Yes | This run uses a particular glitch to ignore the usual limit for swim distance, which allows the player to reach the end of the game without synthesizing the cure for the plague. The runners will make a beeline for the game's "finish line" as quick as possible. This race is performed between the two individuals who created the leaderboards for this game, and hold the top 2 times in this category. |
Glitchless Declined | 00:40:00 | Yes | This run contains no major glitches, and consists of traversing the rugged wilderness of the map to collect 6 plants in order to synthesize 3 components that comprise the cure for the plague, then escaping the island. This race is performed between the two individuals who created the leaderboards for this game, and routed this category together. |

Any% (Easy) Accepted | 00:28:00 | No | Any% (Easy) focuses a lot more in movement where the game shines instead of combat. The run is very fast paced thanks to getting dash extremely early and a few sequence breaks you can do in the early game. Swapping characters is also a core mechanic in the run since you can switch to any available at any time, this adds a lot of technicality to the run, as you need to swap very quick at times to optimize the best movement options. |

Any% Declined | 0:30:00 | No | The Any% run consists of completing the game as fast as possible by visiting the special worlds to get to the final world of the game. We will be using the warp mechanism tailored to each game to travel through worlds very fast and as a result, along with the unique powerups will allow us to beat these games by skipping the majority of the levels. 100% All Shadow Tasks - Good Ending Declined | 00:40:00 | No | The goal of this category is to beat the game as quickly as possible and get the good ending while also interacting with every possible Shadow spawn point in the game. You must interact with ALL of the possible Shadow locations in your run (even the ones that don’t cause a Shadow to appear in your current save file). When uncovering the final Shadow in each level you must also let their dialogue complete. You are allowed to return to the Quilt to move on to the next level but if it’s closer, you can also use a shortcut! |
Any% - Good Ending (Save File) Declined | 00:16:00 | No | Complete the game from start to finish using a save file that you've made at the beginning of the game! You must beat the game without being sent to the quilt more than 8 times. |

Speedrun Mode NG+ Accepted | 1:30:00 | No | Speedrun Mode NG+ uses a file already completed and covers each and every challenge in the game. Some of the "normal," "hard," and even "master" challenges can prove to be equally as difficult as the "Legend" difficulty modes. |

Level 25 Declined | 00:35:00 | No | In this category you must clear all 25 levels in Type B as fast as you can! You must balance fast board recognition and piece placement with careful forward thinking in order to succeed! |

Any% No ACE Declined | 2:05:00 | No | Any% No ACE starts slow, but once you get out of chapter 1 things start going pretty crazy. After all the glitches we are able to make it to chapter 8 around an hour and 10 minutes into the run. The difficulty of the glitches and softlock potential make for a very interesting run. The difficulty in the Final bowser fight can be very costly as far as resets go so I provided a very generous estimate. The runs I have done with this route on youtube I happened to have my webcam off so I provided another run with a near similar route where i had webcam on. https://youtu.be/IP5u9DLzeT8?si=AKdED27BJxHBwJQb |
Reverse All Cards Declined | 4:05:00 | No | Reverse All Cards requires the runner to collect all 7 star spirits in reverse order. So we beat chapter 7 and then each chapter backwards in that order to chapter 1, and then go to chapter 8 and finish the game. It is a miracle that this is possible and an amazing showcase of how broken the game is. It has a reputation for being difficult but with the introduction of the glitch seed dupe the route has become much more manageable. |

Any% Declined | 2:50:00 | No | TTYD Any% involves lots of glitches and the sequence is all over the place frankly. It makes for a very interesting run for marathons as there is plenty of downtime to explain everything during cutscenes, but the route is definitely not what a casual would expect. |
Max Upgrades Declined | 4:30:00 | No | This run still gets to showcase lots of glitches but also gets to see every chapter of the game! the goal is to get all 4 paper curses (plane mode, paper mode, tube mode and boat mode), ultra hammer and boots, and upgrade all 7 partners to ultra rank, requiring us to collect 42 shine sprites. This is a more laid back run that most runners consider to be fairly easy and beginner friendly. |
Pre-Hooktail Pit Declined | 2:20:00 | No | Pre-Hooktail Pit is a challenge/speedrun where you attempt to defeat the pit of 100 trials before ever going past a chapter 1 sequence. this run gets to be pretty intense as the pit gets very difficult around the 40's. This is not something that I cannot promise to finish but I would do my best and hopefully make it to Bonetail at the very least. There are a few glitches involved but the main draw of this category is watching someone superguard their way thru the pit with limited resources. |

League Race Declined | 1:50:00 | No | The Paper Mario Randomizer League will kick off its fourth season during AGDQ! The current season includes full gear shuffle, shopsanity, partner upgrade shuffle, coinsanity, and shuffled panels, where the goal is to save 4 of the 7 required star spirits and ultimately defeat Bowser. This randomizer league race would feature two top group players, myself and Phantom5800, using the latest settings with a pre-vetted and pre-generated seed to ensure a marathon-friendly showcase. |

2k% Accepted | 00:35:00 | No | This category presents a thrilling fusion of speedrunning and scorerunning. The objective is to achieve a score of 2,000 points while completing the game as quickly as possible. Introduced by LylatR and Rakanai in 2021, this innovative category merges the strategies from both run types, resulting in a dynamic and fast-paced experience. The category requires optimal “using the boost to get through” but also precise aiming of charged unlocked shots (a frequent score-running tactic). And maybe an easy way taking of out Slippy, because who actually likes him? This run has been showcased at multiple marathon events, including AGDQ 2024 and GDQx at TwitchCon 2024. The game’s nostalgic lines and memorable experience make this run a fun experience for all viewers! |
Score Attack Declined | 1:00:00 | No | High-score runs involve super precise aim and mastery of unlocked charged shots to optimize the points from every group of enemies. The score route has dramatically changed since Zallard1’s 2014 well-known AGDQ run. Instead of Area 6, this new route goes through Bolse using a precise and challenging glitch that obtains a previously unthought number of possible points. My PB for this route is 3085, averaging around 2800 in marathon settings, including the first-ever 3000-point run on a GDQ Hotfix. The record for score running was broken multiple times this year by Miko, who currently holds the record at 3,171 points. The showcase would utilize a modified version of the single-life scorerunning rules where I only have one attempt to complete the route but would take deaths where applicable to show off different scorerunning strategies. |

any% Declined | 8:05:00 | No | Beat the game as fast as possible! Unfortunately due to the developers patching out every Gamecube glitch and exploit, slower text battle and load times, and changes to how the pipes to other chapters work, the switch remake is significantly slower than the original in length currently. Despite that many gamebreaking glitches have been found that are all post chapter 6 currently, but they allow us to generate key items out of thin air and skip crazy things in chapters 7 and 8! Changes made to Powerbounce has made killing bosses quickly frame perfect in execution. Skilled movement is needed to avoid enemy encounters in the field and some tricky jumps skip fights and other sections as well! It is a very comfy, enjoyable and challenging speedrun! |
Pit of 100 Trials Declined | 3:00:00 | No | Everyone knows Bonetail is actually the first boss of the game.... Jokes aside the Pit of 100 Trails is the gauntlet of optional battles Mario can face for great rewards. So we beat it as fast as possible, which means we beat it before ever completing the first chapter of the game, making this the "Pre-Hooktail Pit" challenge but done quickly. Run showcases high skill with optimizing battles and nailing superguards in order to survive. Thanks to the remake adding a retry feature this challenge speedrun is now marathon safe as a death only incurs timeloss rather than having to load your save like in the original! Come and see the toughest battles in the game done as fast as possible! |

Any% Declined | 00:13:00 | No | The wackiness of Peggle Extreme is well shown off in its main category—any%! This tight, fast-paced run involves completing each of the 10 levels as fast as possible and is a great showcase of the game overall. |
Extreme Grand Master Backup | 00:32:00 | No | Where Peggle Extreme really earns its title is the 100% category—Extreme Grand Master! Day-Night Declined | 01:16:00 | No | In this category we play through the first two worlds: Day and Night. While a truncated version of any%, it still shows off a lot of what PvZ has to offer, including its different time of day mechanics. Like the category suggests, the difference is literally night and day! I recently showed off this category on Flame Fatales 2024! |
Day-Pool Declined | 02:12:00 | No | In this category we play through the first 3 worlds—Day, Night, and Pool!!! This category lets us show off what the game looks like when you add water plants and zombies to the equation, as well as hilarious additions like the Zomboni and tiny zombies and the thrilling possibility of a long level with no shooting plants at all! |
Randomizer (Restricted) Declined | 04:00:00 | No | In the Plants vs Zombies randomizer, you can randomize just about everything! From the level order to the plants you’ll get to the zombies that can show up, this is the game like you’ve never seen it before. In addition to the wackiness brought upon by the randomized elements, the randomizer has very well-programmed logic to it, meaning that you can never get a stage you can’t complete (and thus keeping the randomizer to a consistent estimate). This submission was filmed as a race but I am submitting it as a solo showcase. |

1v1 Lockout Bingo Race Declined | 00:45:00 | Yes | This race features a Bingo match with a lockout ruleset. The 2 runners will have to complete a variety of challenges from the "Challenge" pages of Peggle Nights, as well as completing full clears of levels (clearing every single peg on a level) and acing levels (beating a set points score on a level). There's 60 Challenges, 60 Full Clears and 60 Ace Scores, so there's a lot of variety that can be served up on this board. The race is won by completing a bingo line of 5 squares, or alternatively by completing 13/25 objectives. In the lockout ruleset, if a player takes a square, the other racer is unable to complete it, meaning lines can be blocked, requiring the player to not only focus on strategising individual objects, but also strategise what objectives to go for to keep ahead of their competition. This lockout match would be me against PoetryStud. |

The race is won by completing a bingo line of 5 challenges, or alternatively by completing 13/25 objectives. Grand Master Declined | 00:45:00 | No | This run involves starting a new save file, completing an Adventure mode (any%) playthrough of the game's 10 levels, and then completing the 10 challenges in the game as well. The any% part of the run is similar to other Peggle runs that have been featured at GDQ events before, but one thing that is nice about this category is that it also includes other playstyles and aspects of Peggle speedrunning with the challenges, which are more often a part of 100% speedruns. While this run is separate from a true 100% speedrun, it still involves elements of Peggle speedrunning that are only found in such runs, and that aren't featured in any% runs, including many unique challenges that force very non-standard and in many cases more advanced techniques. |

All Obtainable Pokemon Declined | 05:45:00 | No | Gotta catch 'em all! This is an insanely fun category doing what Let's Go, Eevee! does best: catching Pokémon! This category uses motion controls to catch every Pokémon (which is a hilarious disaster sometimes), and employs and exploits game mechanics not seen in any other category of this game. Planning when to catch certain mons, when and what to evolve, and problem solving whatever awful hand the game deals you are key aspects of this category. |
Any% NMS Declined | 03:10:00 | No | Beat the game as fast as possible (almost)! This game is different from the Any% category in that this category has no mount skips (NMS). Motion controls to catch Pokémon, with the requirement of 50 Pokémon to enter Koga's gym. This requirement makes for an interesting run, as each run must be routed on the fly depending on what Pokémon the game decides to spawn. |

Indigo Disk Accepted | 02:15:00 | No | This is the 2nd DLC expansion speedrun category: The Indigo Disk. What makes this run unique is that every. single. battle. is a double battle in the Blueberry Academy, and their Elite 4 and Champion have competitively built teams, movesets, and held items making for an exceptional difficult challenge. Instead of technically doing the "full" category, I've submitted this as a "single story" category that begins after finishing the main game and Teal Mask DLC, which is required to complete before gaining access to the Indigo Disk story line. |

Each attempt is different based on both the spawn luck as well as the experience route. Since this was last showcased at GDQ in 2019, a massive amount of new information about the game has been discovered and now the run is more consistent and faster than ever... which allows for even more risk to be taken! |

This run also takes advantage of limiting our framerate for the sake of maximizing Spyro's jump height as well as downgrading the environment when it comes to invisible hitboxes and sequence break several levels throughout the game. We also take advantage of a very unique trick in the game that allows us to bypass most of a level in the end game and get us one step closer to the end of the run. |

Rivulet - Story Declined | 0:47:00 | No | Rivulet is an aquatic Slugcat with access to multiple unique movement abilities allowing it to be one of the most expressive technical characters to speedrun. With its increased speed and mobility Rivulet uses wall pounces, ploinks, grapples, zero-g movement, and an anti-gravity ball to traverse the world swiftly and efficiently. Under constant threat of a heavy downpour that kills all creatures left outside, Rivulet must travel between areas quickly to deliver the anti-gravity ball from one dying "god" to another before their machinery breaks down for good, hopefully reuniting the two robot "gods" of a past civilization in the process. |

Saint is a fluffy and frail Slugcat that cannot defend themselves conventionally. This requires them to use their tongue as an enhanced grapple and to utilize the strengths of other creatures for their benefit. At least this is true until we meet all of the Echoes of the world (ghosts of a past civilization) and acquire godly powers by reaching maximum karma through their power. Upon attaining the power of ascension and flight we immediately ascend into the void, a strange amalgamation of all the previous areas, leaving the old "gods" of the world to their fate. |

NG+ no IMG (or simply no IMG for short; referring to a wrong warp that skips half of the game) is a full game speedrun that starts in challenge mode, giving ratchet immediate access to all the gadgets and weapons that runners can exploit to move fast and break the game. The run starts at full speed from second zero and does not slow down, finishing each planet in a minute or less. Pretty much every planet is visited in this category making it both incredibly fun and varied and a nostalgia trip for those who loved this game as a kid. |

Offline, Lone Wolf, Very Hard Declined | 1:25:00 | No | The game has five scenarios (some locales in these scenarios being fan-favorite locations from the original RE trilogy) that we'll be going through on Very Hard, Lone Wolf mode (an unlockable Solo mode that disallows AI partners to make the player truly alone in the levels). This speedrun is not for the faint of heart as Very Hard Offline (despite having less RNG elements than Online Mode) STILL changes aspects of scenarios, whether it's making enemy RNG more unpredictable, a complete enemy swap in one scenario, or the higher chance of the "Bleed" mechanic kicking in when runners are grabbed/attacked by enemies! |

All Medals Declined | 2:00:00 | No | All Medals involves going through all 50 of the main rhythm games, including the sequels and remixes. To get medals, you need to get Superb rankings on every game, which means I'll have to play every game with very few mistakes. This category serves as a nice balance between getting to show off the entire game while also not requiring absolute perfection the whole way through, and I'm fairly confident in my ability to get all 50 Superb rankings first try. |

Any% Declined | 3:10:00 | No | Any% entails collecting 70 stars to unlock Bowser's Galaxy Generator, then collecting the final grand star to beat the game. Full Game Co-op Declined | 00:50:00 | Yes | Co-op is the preferred way to show this game, as it is the only mode to feature the true ending. (Yes, the game treats this like Bubble Bobble where it doesn't care if you do it all alone!) Additionally, the puzzles and bosses in co-op mode are entirely unique from single player mode and are focused around challenging the two players to work together - sometimes on separate but complementary cycles, and sometimes in the same space while trying not to get either player crushed, squashed, set on fire, lasered, beaten up, or... well, you get the idea. There may or may not be some playful bickering involved. :P |

Nelson No Angry Mode Any% Declined | 00:35:00 | No | The run fully uses chain attack resets, stun locking, and two hidden warp zones by attaining certain scores on certain levels. Nelson is used over Flak as Flak's attack has too many possible OTG grabs and resetting the damage from pervious attacks. |

Any% [Hardest Difficulty] Declined | 00:08:00 | No | This is a full playthrough of River City Ransom EX, using a custom (non-modded) character and altered in-game settings. This is a wild, chaotic, blistering dash through River City. We run at mach speeds, teleport back and forth, and even use telekinetic powers! This category displays utter dominance of hardest possible difficulty mode in the game. Our customized hero is simply too overpowered for anything to go awry. This all makes for an explosive and FAST-looking playthrough, while also being incredibly safe and consistent. |
Any% [Wussy Mode, No Cheats] Declined | 00:11:00 | No | It's Alex's time to shine! This is a full playthrough of River City Ransom EX, using a totally vanilla character and default settings. Tons of clean movement, fighting, manipulation, and tricks are constantly in demand, in order to fight quickly. However, even with awful luck and the biggest possible mistakes, the run will experience only minor speed bumps. It's a running simulator with a boss rush...featuring flowing physics, comedic glitched KOs, flashy weapon throws, and more! |
Any% [Wussy Mode] Declined | 00:06:00 | No | This is the fastest possible way to complete River City Ransom EX! It's a full playthrough of the game, using a custom (non-modded) character and altered in-game settings. This is a wild, chaotic, blistering dash through River City. We run at mach speeds, teleport back and forth, and even use telekinetic powers! The easiest difficulty mode melts before our might, and hardly any variance exists which can slow down the run. Blink and you miss it! |

Any% Declined | 01:23:00 | No | This is a full playthrough of River City Ransom: Underground, using the standard "Story" difficulty setting. Tricks, skips, and fighting exploits permeate this run, as we speed through the lengthy story campaign. Ryan slides groovily (sliding is faster) through a wide range of areas, facing multitudinous bosses and braving climactic, dramatic battle scenes. After passing a time-based event in the early game, most of the adventure is smooth sailing - even the infamous, pulse-pounding milk-ferrying quest can be wrangled! Multi-minute-draining disasters can occur in Merv Tower and the endgame, but pre-made safety saves and tons of healing items can mitigate the danger of the most punishing threats. |

Any% Declined | 00:17:00 | No | This is a full playthrough of Ruff City, using its single-player mode. This category allows the use of a massively powerful glitch called the Infinite Weapon Glitch (IWG). There are many chances in the run to activate it, and once that happens...enemies CRUMBLE to nonstop weapon strikes. This is a straightforward romp through an adorable beat-em-up, where we anticipate foes, herd them together, and swiftly pummel them. Even in the worst-case scenario of the player being KO'd, infinite continues allow the run to continue from the same screen - this is a very safe marathon speedrun. |
Any% NWG Declined | 00:18:00 | No | This is a full playthrough of Ruff City, using its single-player mode. This category DOES NOT allow the use of an Infinite Weapon Glitch (IWG). This is a straightforward romp through an adorable beat-em-up, where we anticipate foes, herd them together, and swiftly pummel them. Even in the worst-case scenario of the player being KO'd, infinite continues allow the run to continue from the same screen - this is a very safe marathon speedrun. |

Any% Declined | 01:10:00 | No | Any% seeks to beat the game as fast as possible. We utilize an alchemy spell route in the beginning to quickly defeat bosses. Once entering Act 2, we use the ingame market timer (forces us to wait) to prepare for the rest of the run. During this phase, we gain invincibility and super strength by underflowing our stats. After this wait, we give our dog NoClip, which allows him to run through barriers and walls. This allows us to skip most of Act 2 and head to Act 3. From there, we focus on progressing the story while performing several OoB shenanigans. There's a plethora of tricks and skips to discuss as we go through the final 20 minutes of the game. The game is held together by duct tape and is an incredible watch! |

All Bosses/Minibosses Declined | 1:30:00 | No | A very dense run including ~50 fights. Most fights after the early game use a combination of buffs and a powerful combat art called mortal draw that can be free aimed to hit enemy weakspots, creating something resembling a glass cannon build. Movement between bosses is a combination of intended parkour and grappling as well as occasional airswimming. |

Any% Declined | 01:05:00 | No | In Any%, we will blaze through the game as fast as we possibly can, collecting as few objects as possible (which is still a lot of things given the games puzzle based game play loop). More or less though we will be completing all four towers and attempting to stop the villain Belzar from reviving the Warlock Lord. Its a fun romp through castle Shadowgate and some fascinating dungeons! |

100% Declined | 00:12:00 | No | In true 100%, we will fight every villain with all three Powerpuff Girls. Doing so unlocks the true final boss (HIM). We will see everything the game has to offer in a very short amount of time and get to show off how each Powerpuff Girl plays on a deeper level. |
100% Single Character Declined | 00:05:00 | No | We will go through the games roster of villains as only a single playable character (Blossom, Bubbles or Buttercup). This means a total of six fights and it excludes the secret hidden final fight against HIM. |

40 Man Ring-Out (Co-op) Declined | 00:15:00 | No | Myself and my dad (Taterbeefjerky) will cooperatively knock out 38 other wrestlers out of the ring in less than 15 minutes. See a large variety of funny looking early N64 models of various famous wrestlers! The run itself is a pie fight of activity constantly happening on screen, sometimes with unfortunate but hilarious results. |
US Heavyweight (No Ring-Outs) Declined | 00:10:00 | No | We will fight our way through nine opponents and obtain the US Heavyweight champion belt! In No-Ring Outs, we specifically cannot win via timing the opponent out, outside of the ring. We have to stand and fight! This run makes for a great showcase of the games more active categories and a nice demonstration of the various moves and mechanics within the game! |

DMHS (All Dark Magic/Heart Squids) Accepted | 01:20:00 | No | This run collects all of the scattered Heart Squids and Dark Magic, unlocking the true final boss, the good ending, and a full post-credits completion screen. This is a marathon-safe 100% alternative, as a true 100% requires a lot of money grinding to buy all the upgrades in the shop. |

Any% Declined | 1:05:00 | No | Precise movement/timing and seriously busted shout mechanics allow runners to dodge or 'shout push' our way past deadly enemies and manipulate enemy behavior. Sonic's Story Declined | 01:05:00 | No | The Main Campaign, Sonic's Story! We start the time when selecting the blue blur himself, and we stop time after the malicious Egg Viper has been defeated. This run has gone through TONS of changes of the last few years, and there's truly no speedgame quite like it. From jumping into Tails' campaign to skip some cutscenes to falling through single-unit wide gaps, Sonic's Story is a high octane category unlike anything you've ever seen. |

Dark Story (New Game) Backup | 00:38:00 | Yes | This run has gone through a renaissance of changes over the past few years. What was once thought to be a more movement-oriented category is now filled with flashy skips that showcase the limits of the game's engine. Expect to see hyper fast Shadow movement, highly technical Eggman platforming, and methodical Rouge treasure hunting. Submitting as a potential bid war against the New Game+ run. |
Dark Story (New Game+) Declined | 00:35:00 | No | New Game+ is a variant of this run that starts from a completed save file, which paves the way for additional large skips and strategies that transform the speedrun right from the first few seconds. Submitting as a potential bid war against the New Game run. |

This category shows everything great that every gameplay style has to offer and leads to a run that will delight sonic fans and non sonic fans alike. 120 Stars - Luigi (2p) Declined | 5:50:00 | No | 120 Stars is the BEST speedrun this game has to offer and is MY favorite. It includes new skips for any% and 120 star exclusive levels and viewers will be blown away at the speed we complete a game that is meant to be a 20+ hour experience in just 5 and a half! This run is a decent bit in length so viewers will be able to catch this run even if they are busy for a couple hours, which as a viewer is comforting and exciting. If this category is showcased, GDQ viewers and staff alike WILL NOT be disappointed! |

Small Stories K.A.G. Accepted | 00:40:00 | No | Small Stories is a category extension of the SADX speedrun community. 100% (No Out of Bounds) Declined | 00:18:00 | No | While this category is the longest time-wise of this game, it provides an excellent opportunity to show off all of what Sonic R has to offer to the casual player looking to get the most out of the title. Shadow's Story (No Credits Warp) Declined | 00:52:00 | No | Shadow's Story has perhaps some of the most flashy skips and tricks in the entire run, ranging from skipping results screens entirely to despawning an entire boss by breaking out of bounds. At its core, however, lies some incredible movement and momentum conservation, as well as the best combat of any story in this game. Given the recent love for Shadow in the upcoming Shadow Generations, now's as good a time as any to let the character's last mainline full-game appearance shine for itself. |
Silver's Story (No Credits Warp) Declined | 00:50:00 | No | Silver's Story is the most tech based run of the entire game, and involves lots of difficult tricks which are absolutely beautiful to watch once chained. Recent tech changes a good amount of the run too, in sometimes comical ways, making this a perfect opportunity to showcase more of Silver's run. In particular, optimization of the use of the "telethrow" trick has resulted in Silver becoming more consistent as a category overall, all while maintaining the crazy skips and mind-blowing physics exploits that viewers have come to expect from the psychokinetic hedgehog. |
Sonic's Story (No Credits Warp) Declined | 01:02:00 | No | Sonic's Story has been the most competitive category in Sonic '06's history, and that fact has not changed in the slightest with many recent findings and optimizations making this story a true execution test throughout. From launching on a loop all the way through an entire stage, to quickly killing a boss by deliberately taking damage, to using all the gems we can to break the late game stages, all the way to completing the final boss in a measly 5 seconds. This category takes its viewers for a ride, bringing both technical movement and flashy tricks all at once. |

Full Arsenal Mode (No Wrong Warp) Declined | 00:26:00 | No | Full Arsenal acts like a New Game Plus version of the game. Spider-Man has all upgrades from the start of the run to build up momentum easier and fly through the game as a result! |
Unstoppable Mode (No Wrong Warp) Declined | 00:25:00 | No | Unstoppable Mode is similar to Full Arsenal, but Spider-Man starts out with maximum momentum, a mechanic that improves combat speed and combo length. Max momentum also lets Spidey show off some cool animations in fights. |

ROTE Any% New Profile Declined | 00:58:00 | No | Rise of the Empire (ROTE) campaign on a fresh profile with no medals present skipping space missions. This category involves a lot of routing out how you plan to build up your medals in the early game to set up for the Empire portion, and making adjustments as you go with various backup plans in case you fall behind. There's a lot more class variety, you get to see most of the classes in the game used in some way and more often instead of only Sniper or Dark Trooper most of the run! The catch is being much more vulnerable to a random Wrist Rocket if you get caught not watching those Wrist Rockets, or the jumpscare Wookies on Polis and Yavin IV, and having to be on top of your execution at all times. Since you don't have bonuses to work with like the Remote Rocket, you have to utilize different strats that do a lot to distinguish the 2 categories. We can still utilize a lot of the schmoovement tech as well, and tricks like turret clipping! Very fun category to marathon and race in! |

Any% Backup | 00:25:00 | No | This category takes the complex and detailed maps of Dark Forces and cuts it down immensely. Through the use of explosive jumping, respawning, quick kills, abusing the mission objective system, and other trigger exploits, this run takes you through the galaxy and back as fast as the kessel run. The remastered version also adds some nice quality of life and visual elements that make everything crystal clear even at high speed. |

All Levels Declined | 00:45:00 | No | All levels is the legacy version of any% on pc. You go through every level of the game utilizing a variety of strategies and exploits, and since there are multiple types of vehicle sections you have to route and learn several control types to master the run. The ground levels utilize jet pack zipping, fast movement, and abusing damage from the high frame rate to take out enemies fast, as well as some other small level specific tricks. Its a cozy run thats easy to follow, and with the terrible things going on and the recovery the marathon aims to help with, I think the people could use a nice cozy star wars run |

Careful inventory/money management with a dose of manipulating RNG to deliver us the best quality presents and timely rain patterns. With the most recent patch of the game, Emily has become dramatically more consistent and some recent reroutes have pushed her time down to just over 40 minutes. 16 Star Blindfolded Declined | 00:30:00 | No | 16 Star Blindfolded is the most popular category in the "blindfolded speedrunning" niché, it contains a full game run from a new file all the way to the credits in an incredibly fast time! Major glitches like "BLJs" and "MIPS Clip" are used to skip the huge star requirements of the endgame. Blindfolded has evolved a lot in the recent years and a few days ago, the world's first sub 20 minute time has been achieved, so many new and interesting strategies are in the run now! |
31 Star Blindfolded Backup | 00:50:00 | No | Blindfolde 31 Star is very similar to a classical 16 Star run, but the rules do not allow the use of the popular "MIPS Clip". Therefore, the player has to collect 30 Stars in the Lobby and the Basement area in order to open the second Bowser stage in the intended way. Blindfolded uses a lot of really creative setups to achieve this in a fast manner! |

This category bans the wrong warp so we get to experience the entire game. It'd be awesome to showcase everything we've found strat wise in such a short period of time! |

Any% Declined | 1:05:00 | No | Echoes of Wisdom Any% has quickly developed into a very broken run! Showcasing only the first and final dungeons, and some very broken tech to get us from one to the other, this brand-new game is definitely ready for the stage and showing off what it can do! Any% offers a short introduction to what will be a long and interesting history of years to come for this wonderful and adorable game |

Any% No MSS Accepted | 01:35:00 | No | Any% No MSS means No Manual Super Swim, what this category boasts is a very unique route that isn't seen in regular any% anymore, as No MSS bans puppet ganon skip, meaning we need to adjust routing to account for what we'll need to defeat Puppet Ganon, changing the route quite a bit from standard any% runs! This game is charming and adorable, and well known to the Zelda community as a very glitchy and fun run! |

All Dungeons Declined | 4:00:00 | No | Twilight Princess All Dungeons is my personal favorite category of any game I've run. This is just such a fun run to both watch and perform I can't help but recommend it in spite of its long time slot. This game has everything, dungeons! throw the rang and go whee! goofy glitchy cutscenes! Funny mistranslations and names! and dungeons! Showing off a lot of fun tech as we make our way through the core gameplay loop, every single trick in this run is satisfying to watch and to perform, I just can't help but submit this absolute gem of a category. Did I mention it has dungeons? |
All Fused Shadows Declined | 01:30:00 | No | Not a full game run. All Fused Shadows boasts a lot of interesting strats and tricks which showcase a lot of the core tricks seen in a Twilight Princess Speedrun, this run aims to complete the first three dungeons of the game as quickly as possible. Showing off some fun and unique strats to this category, and some staples anyone watching a more "common" run like any% would see! Definitely a must-watch for all Zelda fans! |
Goron Mines RTA Declined | 01:05:00 | No | (Not a full game run) Goron Mines RTA is probably the most unique category of Twilight Princess that's marathon safe, this category aims to just complete the second dungeon of the game. We do this without completing the first dungeon, and without getting the boomerang at all, which creates an experience very different from most runs of Twilight Princess, yet still has the look and feel of a Twilight Princess run! |

Any% Bonus | 1:00:00 | No | We figured out how to wrong warp almost anywhere 4 days after the game released. This includes the final dungeon and makes the any% speedrun very silly, yet still entertaining. |

100% Declined | 6:20:00 | No | 100% is a complex and interesting category involving getting all dungeon items, heart pieces/containers, weapon upgrades, inventory items, and more. The route has been highly optimized over the years and has never been shown off at a GDQ before. |
Moon Jump Any% Declined | 00:35:00 | No | This category uses the moon jump cheat code, which makes Link gain height whenever the player holds R and holds or taps A. This drastically changes general movement and routing possibilities and makes the game completable in under 30 minutes. |

Any% (PC No Cutscenes, Solo) Declined | 01:20:00 | No | This run is the best category we have to offer for a solo speedrun. We take Sam, Legolas and Gandalf and take them through their respective levels. All while upgrading the best abilities possible to make the run as quick as possible. Attached in the submission video are time stamps to all the latest and greatest strategies that may have been missed in the SGDQ run and are now ready for the GDQ Audience to enjoy!! |
No Upgrades (PC, No Cutscenes, Solo) Declined | 01:25:00 | No | Lets take all the beauty of the Any% speedrun and remove the ability to upgrade ANY of our characters during the run essentially turning this run into Return of the King's own level 1 run. We still follow the same updated level order but we have to become a little more clever in our fights as we try to save Middle-Earth at our most weakest we would ever be in the run. This adds an additional level of challenge to the run but keeps it all the more interesting |

Aragorn (Easy) Declined | 00:55:00 | No | this is the most competitive category in the entire game. We play as Aragorn. He is the perfect blend of everything you would want in a character. He can run fast. He has amazing movement abilities, his ranged attacks are strong, and his sword is sharp!! In this video description are time stamps to every single boss fight and all the fast strategies that are used in this category. All are very precise and save minutes. Included at the end of the run as well is a cutscene skip that has been utilized in recent years and has shaved even more time off of the current world record. |
Gimli (Easy) Declined | 00:55:00 | No | You ever wonder what would happen if Gimli could spin around and not get dizzy with his axe? Neither did I but we find out in this speedrun and it is hilarious. Gimli is the meme of the three, his slow attacks and janky hitboxes make for a run that everyone would love to watch. |
Legolas (Easy) Declined | 00:55:00 | No | Legolas is one of the most iconic LOTR Video game characters of all time. Always being known for being overpowered and having infinite arrows and this game is close to no exception. His blond hair may not flow as lusciously in this 2002 video game but his arrows fly true and they eliminate bosses in the blink of an eye. Especially near the end of the run when his bow is fully upgraded and can pierce enemies and set them on fire |

All Bosses Declined | 2:05:00 | No | The all bosses category of The Pathless avoids an early skip to get to the end of the game and instead completes all of the game's boss battles as intended. This grants access to a number of exciting battles and chases. |

Randomizer Declined | 1:15:00 | No | I will be playing the randomizer chiefly developed by Jarno. The settings will be the current "standard" 2024 SGL tournament settings which are intended to be faster. Typical seeds average between 30-40 minutes. My personal average is 40-60 minutes. I feel like 1:15:00 is a good estimate. |

All Goals and Golds One Stat Accepted | 00:35:00 | No | The goal, all goals and gold medals from competitions in THPS 1+2, sounds easy enough? The catch is, we'll be running with One Stat on all of our attributes, making long combos and hard to reach goals even harder than before. |

Endoscopy Declined | 00:16:00 | No | This is a Section Run of specifically the 5 main story Endoscopy operations. These operations involve treat maladies inside the GI tract or Respiratory Tract via the use of an endoscope, which is guided using the wiimote and nunchuck. This is one of the most technically intensive parts of the game involving use of multiple of the wiimote's functions, all at the same time. In order to finish, it requires precise movement of the wiimote combined with Trauma Center classics, such as optimal tool usage and putting the patients in mortal danger, all to save just that bit more time. |
Patient Zero Declined | 1:20:00 | No | Patient Zero represents a more well-rounded section run of Trauma Team, as it shows examples of all six specialties while being a quicker, more balanced than a full game run. Patient Zero is the final chapter of the game, involving 12 ops, with all specialties combined as the characters deal with an epidemic of a dangerous virus. Through this run, one can get a good sample of all six play styles, and all of the different skills and strategies used to complete the game. |

100% NMG Declined | 1:10:00 | No | 100% shows off the most of what TUNIC has to offer compared to its other categories by beating the game as fast as possible while also obtaining all of the major items, equipment, and collectibles found throughout the game. This includes every non-consumable equipment item as well as all of the instruction manual pages, fairies, secret treasures, stat upgrade items, and more. No major glitches means that we can't use things like ladder storage, wrong warps, or upgrade stealing, but are allowed to use many other sequence breaks and skips in their place. |
True Ending NMG Backup | 00:40:00 | No | Beat the game as fast as possible while also collecting every page of the in-game instruction manual in order to achieve the game's true ending. No major glitches means that we can't use things like ladder storage, wrong warps, or upgrade stealing, but are allowed to use many other sequence breaks and skips in their place. |

Gold Disk Declined | 00:07:45 | No | Hyper Contender Gold Disk is a short, chaotic run that's different every time. Defeat all 8 unique characters in a row to claim tournament victory in order to clear the Gold Disk. The CPUs can be unpredictable and straight up ruthless. Only your own skill and game knowledge can carry you to victory. This category shows off every character in the game and demonstrates the randomness that the run entails. This video was a live run (with fairly good RNG) to show off the on-the-fly reactions required to run this game. |

Cherry Disk Declined | 00:07:15 | No | In Night Manor Cherry Disk you cannot simply get in the car and escape, you have to eradicate the fungal menace for good. This is the true ending category for Night Manor and is significantly longer than Gold Disk, where your only goal is to open the garage and drive away. This category involves much more item juggling and fast menuing and it showcases nearly the entirety of the game. |

Cherry Declined | 0:25:00 | No | The category I will be submitting for is the Cherry Cartridge, which requires you to beat the game with at least 40 stars. Meaning that on top of having to beat every level under the goal time, you also have to complete it while filling another goal such as completing the level without killing a single Lawman, or completing the level with all the Lawmen dead |

Attactics Gold Declined | 35:00:00 | No | Attactics Gold means beating all 24 levels of the campaign. Levels vary in the types of units and advantages for the CPU, and generally get harder over time. PBs are around 30 minutes (31 minutes on the commentary run). |

Neutral Ending Backup | 00:57:00 | No | The neutral ending of Undertale is the game's main and most competitive category. This category is typically viewed as Undertale's “Any%” category. The neutral speedrun of Undertale requires runners to have strong technical knowledge of the game in terms of its glitches. This category has tons of fast paced glitches and tricks, mostly due to an item known as the punch card. Some of these glitches include boss skips, wrong warps, and other smaller optimizations. Undertale's neutral speedrun also requires a mastery of the burnt pan weapon in order to optimally complete the boss fight against Asgore. |
True Pacifist Ending Declined | 01:26:00 | No | Undertale's True Pacifist Ending consists of beating the game without fighting any monsters (with the exceptions of Asgore and Flowey). This category is the “good ending” of Undertale and can be viewed as an extension of the neutral ending. The true pacifist ending includes all of the gameplay from the neutral ending with about thirty more minutes of content, including the date segments, true lab, and the final boss fight against Asriel. |

Bingo Declined | 00:30:00 | No | Given the very RNG based nature of a "regular" every deck run, one great category alternative is UNO Bingo! Bingo allows us to focus on a bunch of different goals based on both the game itself (using certain cards, win without calling UNO, etc) and related to the DLC decks (use a specific theme card, complete a deck specific objective). This format allows for us to pick and choose our objectives for a much shorter and less rng dependent speedrun! |

any% Declined | 1:22:00 | No | Wolfenstein II any% features all manner of tech to complete this game as fast as possible. The most utilized are several out of bounds portions used to skip large portions if not almost entire areas in the game, several in-level sequence breaks, weapon upgrades and generally very optimized routing. |
any% (Cutscene Skip) Accepted | 1:00:05 | No | Semi-recently an advanced settings mod was developed that allowed for one of the biggest drags in the run to be completely negated, the in-game cutscenes. any% Cutscene Skip is probably the ultimate category for Wolfenstein II as it allows you to do all of the out of bounds and exploits that make any% great without any of the long stretches of just waiting for story to happen. This category also utilizes cutscene deletion which allows for time to be saved by completely removing any cutscenes that don't cover up loading. |
Glitchless Declined | 1:28:00 | No | This category is pretty akin to playing the game casually, but faster. Despite not utilizing any explicit glitches, clips or glitch-related skips, the run still includes other ways to optimize the run such as weapon upgrades and a specific body upgrade, movement optimization and good routing |
